Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar and Walk – 23 October 2025

On 23 October 2025, Mian Muhammad Bakhsh Trust Hospital, Dhanyala, Jhelum, organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar and Walk. The purpose of the event was to highlight the symptoms, causes, and importance of early diagnosis of this disease among women.

The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and a Naat in praise of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Dr. Shehzana Imtiaz, Senior Consultant Gynecologist, delivered a detailed awareness session on breast cancer and described early detection as the key to effective treatment.

On this occasion, students and teachers from Government Girls High School Dhanyala, along with local women, participated in large numbers. The awareness walk was conducted to express solidarity in the fight against breast cancer. The participants appreciated the efforts of Mian Muhammad Bakhsh Trust Hospital and described it as an effective step for the health of the community.

On the occasion of Cervical Cancer Awareness and World Contraception Day, Mian Muhammad Bakhsh Trust Hospital, Dhanyala, organized an awareness program aimed at educating women and girls in the rural community about reproductive health, the prevention of cervical cancer, and various contraceptive methods. A large number of women and girls participated in the program.

While addressing the audience, Mr. Umar Mushtaq Bargatt (Member, Board of Trustees) emphasized the hospital’s commitment to promoting women’s health and highlighted the importance of affordable screening and vaccination.

Dr. Shehzana Imtiaz (Senior Gynecologist) delivered a comprehensive awareness session on cervical cancer, HPV vaccination, and different contraceptive methods, while also addressing and clarifying common misconceptions.

The program proved effective in empowering women to make informed health decisions, benefit from screening and family planning services, and reduce social stigma related to reproductive health.

11-COVID19 Vaccination, MMBT Hospital 09-08-2021

COVID-19 Vaccination Camp was organised by Basic Health Unit (BHU), Chak Ltief Ullah, Tehisil Dina, District Jhelum at Mian Muhammad Bukhsh Trust (MMBT) Hospital Dhanyala.Tehsil Dina, District Jhelum from 9 am to 4 pm. Total 282 males/females were vaccinated in the camp.

09-Free Medical Camp for Bone Mineral Density (BMD) 08-07-2021

On 8 July 2021, from 1000 hours to 1400 hours, a free camp to check the calcium in bones (Bones Mineral Density) though ultrasound was organized by Cell Laboratories Private Limited under the supervision of Dr. Shahzana Imtiaz, Consultant Gynecologist at Mian Muhammad Bukhsh Hospital, Dhanyala, Jhelum. A team from Cell Laboratories private limited participated the camp and performed BMD Test of 69 patients free of cost. Dr. Shahzana Imtiaz, Gynecologist, Dr Abdul Kareem, Surgeon and Mr. Muhammad Ashraf Junaid, Assiatnat Field Manager, Cell Laboratories Private Limited highlighted the importance of bone calcium. Mr. Muhammad Ashraf Junaid also highlighted that BMD tests are costly but performed free of cost at Mian Muhammad Bukhsh Trust Hospital, Dhanyala, Jhelum.
